"That was a weird show"

The Springfield News-Sun in Ohio has a fun feature story about a local man that worked as a sound technician on the original Dark Shadows series. 73-year-old Jim Peer seems mostly amused by his brief tenure with Dark Shadows, saying "That was a weird show."
Excerpt:
As originally played from 1967-71 by Jonathan Frid — whom Peer remembers fondly as “just a regular guy”— Barnabas is easily among the all-time great bloodsuckers.
Peer remembers the time a studio exec brought his daughter to a “Dark Shadows” rehearsal.
“She was really disappointed,” he said, “because they rehearsed in street clothes. He didn’t look like a vampire.”
