Hamner’s career isn’t easy to summarize, but includes numerous episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, the screenplay for CHARLOTTE’S WEB, and “created by” credits for THE WALTONS and FALCON CREST. If you own a television, chances are you’ve seen something written or created by Hamner.
EARL HAMNER STORYTELLER was screened at UCLA on Feb. 8 for 250 specially invited guests. David Selby and Susan Sullivan are among the colleagues to appear in the documentary about the 91-year-old writer, and were in the audience for the event. Ordinarily, Selby’s appearance would be enough to get a mention of the screening here. But Sullivan is also appearing in an upcoming DARK SHADOWS audiodrama from Big Finish this summer. I don’t know which one yet, but it’s a safe to assume it’s an episode that also features Selby.
