Quentin and Jamison Collins return this Winter

Damn, I've got to catch up to the recent Big Finish DARK SHADOWS audiodramas. Not only am I behind on my review of SPEAK NO EVIL (here's the short version: "I was a'ight") but I haven't even listened to THE LAST STOP or DREAMING OF THE WATER yet. I need to get moving, because Big Finish has two new adventures rapidly approaching, and one of them is seasonal.

Coming later this month is A COLLINWOOD CHRISTMAS, starring Jamison Selby as his namesake, Jamison Collins, as well as a few familiar names. (Jamison Selby also penned RETURN TO COLLINWOOD, an early DARK SHADOWS dramatization that's worth searching out.) Here's what A COLLINWOOD CHRISTMAS is about:

Jamison Collins is a lost and broken man. His wife has died, leaving him to bring up his children, Roger and Elizabeth, alone. Ivanka Romano lives in the Old House on the Collinwood estate. Abandoned by her gypsy tribe, she is also alone. But, on this dark and stormy night, ghosts from the past are returning. Ghosts from the past are threatening to end the lives of these lost and broken people. It's Christmas Eve but the only present that the children of Collinwood will receive is death ...

Written By: Lizzie Hopley

Cast: Jamison Selby (Jamison Collins), Lizzie Hopley (Ivanka Romano), James Goss (Butler), James Murphy (Joe Griffin) and Jessica Smith (Brigid Griffin) with Kathryn Leigh Scott, Christopher Pennock, David Selby and James Unsworth

And coming in January is THE HAUNTED REFRAIN, starring Selby's father, David. The description:

Barbara loves her husband and their new home. But something is missing from her life. Something she can't explain ... Until, one day, she finds it. An old gramophone sits in the attic. And, on it, she hears the voice of man called Quentin Collins. A voice that talks back to her, begging her for help. Something has trapped the soul of Quentin Collins. But he isn't alone ...
